"Daddy is SO Beautiful!"

Oh my Gosh! I was laughing so HARD when I walked in and found Rachel "dressing up Daddy" while he was DEAD asleep! She was saying things like..."Hi my princess, do you want to wear this?", "Daddy is SO Beautiful", "This will look good on your eyes" and "Here is your lipstick Daddy". HA HA HA HA!!!! You can see why I just HAD to take pictures...I just hope Clint doesn't KILL me for posting them!

Kory lost TWO teeth!

Kory lost his very first TWO teeth yesterday! He lost one at lunch time and the other while he was out at recess. He was SO excited that he immediately called me from school just to tell me all about it! The school gave him a miniature treasure box to keep his two teeth very safe...it was so cute watching him carry it around so carefully all last night. Kory put his little treasure box under his pillow last night and much to his surprise woke up to $4.00 sitting under his pillow instead of the teeth.....he was ECSTATIC! It is so fun to enjoy little moments like these!

Boating...and Mother's Day!

Let's begin with Saturday. After the boys Soccer games (previous post) and Brock's BB Practice we lounged around for a bit and then later that afternoon, we went boating! This was our second time out on our new boat this year and I must say...I am LOVING it! The weather was a little colder than we had hoped for and the water was ROUGH, but we still made the most of it! Here are a FEW photos of our trip down at the lake:
Here is a picture of Richard's (my FIL) boat:
That evening, after boating....Clint loaded up the boys and went shopping for Mother's Day Presents, HOW SWEET! The boys were so cute when they returned home, I could tell that it was just KILLING them not to tell me what they had bought!
Now for Mother's Day! What a WONDERFUL day that was! Clint always makes a special effort to make sure that my day is great! The day began with Clint and the kids working hard to clean the house before I came down the stairs. They dusted, picked up toys, cleaned the kitchen and vacuumed the ENTIRE main floor. After they were finished with the cleaning, they made cinnamon rolls! After breakfast, they all sneaked into the other room to wrap presents...THEN, they couldn't wait ANY longer and wanted me to open them! They bought me two new outfits and a pair of sandals. EVERYTHING they bought was EXACTLY my taste and EXACTLY the right size...they did GOOD!!!! After opening presents, we got ready and went to Church. After Church, we went to my parents home and visited for a while, then we went to Clint's parents for dinner and some games.
I am so grateful for the gift of Motherhood and for my Mother and all that she does for me...I am also grateful that there is a scheduled day, at least once a year where my kids can have the opportunity to express to me there love and appreciation...and that my efforts do not go unnoticed! I am so grateful for a WONDERFUL and LOVING Husband and Children...thanks for making my day so special!

Brock & Kory Soccer

Today was Brock and Kory's first Soccer games. They have never played city league before, so I guess you would say this was pretty new for them. However, they BOTH did AWESOME! I was so VERY proud of them!!! Here are some pictures of both of them.

First...here is Brock, he really was a natural PRO! He was able make two of the three goals that were made. It seemed like ALL the parents were cheering him on because he was doing so AWESOME!
I LOVE this next picure! This was one of his goal shots!

And...here is my sweet little Kory. Although he picked up the ball twice with his hands and ran down the field in the wrong direction a few times...he still managed the ONLY goal for the game. His coach made a special effort to tell me how proud he was of Kory's first game playing!
Oh...and I almost forgot! Here is my little princess Rachel, throwing a drama fit because for ONCE she wasn't the center of attention! Ha Ha Ha...I just had to include this picture because she really does struggle when everything isn't all about her. We still love her though!

Brock & Kory's Field Trip

Today I had the opportunity to go with Brock & Kory on their field trip to the Anderson's Train. We had such a great time and I was so grateful that my Mom would take Rachel so that I could go and have some one on one time with my boys! Here are some pictures:
Brock, Gabe (Brock's friend) & Kory
The first thing we did when we got there is we played "Who took my keys?". Each child would have their turn having their eyes covered while someone in the group would sneak the keys. Then, taking off the blindfold, the kids would have to guess who took them. Kory is on the left, and Brock on the right.
The next game the kids played was a Hula Hoop game. They worked together to get the hula hoop from one end of their line to the other, holding hands...weaving the hula hoop over their heads and under their feet.

Then it was time to ride the TRAIN! Here is Brock & Kory waiting for the train to start moving.
And...here we are ALL riding the train! It was pretty fun!
Before we left, we played a quick game of "Conductor Says" (like "Simon Says"). Neither Brock or Kory made it to the end...but they sure did a GREAT job trying!
The weather was BEAUTIFUL and I really enjoyed the love that my boys showed me through the entire trip. I got SEVERAL hugs throughout and they were ALWAYS concerned about where I was. Very cute!

My little Missing Girl!

If any of you EVER see this little girl out wandering the streets, WITHOUT her Mom or Dad...then PLEASE return her to her home!!!! Although in this picture she looks deceivingly cute, she does have flaws....she is ADDICTED to Chocolate, she leaves a trail behind her everywhere she goes....which can include ANYTHING from Q-tips, Barbies or match box cars, she has a scream that can be raised to the level to where only dogs can hear her, and from time to time she will sneak in a little pinch or two!
Ha Ha...now on a serious note, Rachel scared the CRAP out of me yesterday, TWICE!!! The first time happened at the Baseball Fields while waiting for Brock to begin his Little League Game. Kory was pushing Rachel around in the stroller for a good time and wanted to walk down this little path. I told him that I didn't mind, but to stay close! Well, he proceeded to walk farther, farther and even farther...and by the time I was trying to call for him to come back, he couldn't hear my voice. Just then Brock came over to me with his new BB shirt that he had just received and needed help getting it on (so that noone could see...because you know, that would just be SO embarrasing! he he). When I was finished helping Brock, I turned back around and couldn't see Kory and Rachel anymore, so I picked up ALL of my loads of stuff (shirts, blankets, treats, drinks) and went walking down the path to find them. Well...I found Kory, but there was NO Rachel! I asked him where she was and he just shrugged his shoulders!!!! Serious??!! I asked him where he left her and I got the SAME answer (shoulder shrug). So then I began walking FAST and calling her name. A few other ladies heard my desperate voice and began helping me look. We checked the ENTIRE field, the parking lot, around the bathroom and the pavilion. THEN...Rachel came walking out of the Bathroom with a little friend. She said "Hi Mom, you're back!!!!" UGH...I was so MAD, but relieved that she was okay. Kory and Rachel both got in trouble and weren't allowed to leave my side for the ENTIRE game!!!!
Well then...we were on our way home from the game and Clint had stopped to help his dad move some things around in his yard and so we decided to stop for a minute. We didn't get out because Clint had left for a minute with his Dad, so we just went home. At home...I got out of the car, unlatched Rachel out of her carseat and preceded to unload the car of all the blankets, BB stuff and garbage. When I returned outside to get Rachel to come into the house...she was NO WHERE to be found! Here AGAIN (for the second time in ONE day) I began running around like a crazy lady calling for Rachel. I ran around the house, up and down the street...THEN, my neighbor came driving up the street and honked his horn at me. He told me that his wife had seen Rachel about to cross Center street (very BUSY street) and they had stopped the car so that she could walk her home. When I met up with them (Rachel and the neighbor lady), Rachel was fuming. She said that she wanted to go to Grandma's house and see DADDY! I am SO glad that she didn't cross that street and that my neighbors drove by at that very moment! Someone was DEFINITELY watching over us yesterday...that's for sure!
Now, I know that if my Mother is reading this...then she is probably laughing out loud because approximately 25 years ago it was her time to go searching for a little girl that liked to come up missing. Seriously though, if I KNEW that some of the things that I used to do as a child would come back to HAUNT me...I probably would have made A LOT of different choices!!!!!
