HAPPY BIRTHDAY KORY!

We had such a great day today! We had a Birthday Party for BOTH Brock & Kory and had about 25 kids over to our home! It was so AMAZING that everything worked out so perfect! The weather was so WONDERFUL during the party and didn't begin to storm until after we had cleaned everything up!!!! Can you say...WOW???!!!
I cannot believe how time flies!!! My two little guys are getting so big and just growing up! I am so proud to be their Mom and just love them to PIECES!

Did you ever imagine....

...that life would be so busy when you had kids? SHEESH! Just yesterday....we had SIX vehicles dropped off at my house so that me and Clint could install vinyl lettering on them, then Kory had a Soccer game, then Brock needed treats for HIS Soccer game and Rachel needed a present for a Birthday Party, then Brock had his Soccer game, then Rachel had her Birthday Party for one of her little friends, then we had to make lunch, then we went boating, then it was dinner time......YIKES!!!! I felt like I was RUNNING all day long!

All of this running around sure makes me appreciate what my parents did for me and my sisters when we were younger...because I am sure it was sort of like the same story!

I am looking forward to summer and (I think) excited about the kids being out of school...but WOW, at this rate....I am sure it will just fly right by!

Memorial Weekend

This past weekend we went to Lake Mohave, AZ for Memorial. We went with Clint's family and had such a GREAT time!
On Saturday: We got up, went to Walmart to get food for out on the boat and went boating ALL DAY LONG! The temperature was in the 100's, but it still made for a nice time in the water. The kids (Clint included) had fun on the beach, building sand castles and playing a little water football.

On Sunday: It is me and Clint's rule of thumb that it isn't a good idea to go boating on Sunday, so we hung out around the hotel the entire day and went swimming in the AWESOME pool there. The pool had a river front view and was so peaceful and relaxing! We had a great time showing off tricks, floating on/in the water and having a few races.

On Monday: We went boating ALL DAY! This day was the BEST day for boating since EVERYONE had headed home to get back to reality...thank goodness we decided to stay an extra day! We found the BEST beach and set up a volleyball net and had an awesome game of volleyball. We floated on the tubes and just enjoyed every one's company!

On Tuesday: This is the day we were leaving, so we got up first thing and went swimming for a bit, then got ready, cleaned our rooms and packed everything up. We first decided to get some gas and some lunch...then we were on the road. Or....at least that is what we THOUGHT!!! Clint had a tire on his boat trailer smoke up and so we pulled over before getting on the freeway. Apparently the ?bearing? was missing some *IMPORTANT* parts and so it was something that HAD to be fixed. There we were, sitting in the 100+ heat, with all the kids...broke down, bummer! HOWEVER, me and my BRIGHT ideas decided to call our hotel to see if they would let us come back and swim while the guys took care of *business*, he he. And...they let us, yay! So, while the guys worked on the tire, the girls and kids went swimming again. *THREE HOURS* later, we were back on the road and headed for home.....or so we thought, AGAIN! We got blew a tire on the other side of the trailer after 20 minutes on the freeway, bummer...again! Luckily, Clint had brought a spare tire, so it wasn't too bad of a fix. It really was too bad that we ran into problems, because we didn't make it home until 4:00 AM Wednesday Morning....ROUGH!
Overall though, our trip was AMAZING and I cannot WAIT to go back!!!!

Rachel's School Program

*sigh* Rachel is OFFICIALLY done with her first year of Pre-School! Today was her year-end program. She has really enjoyed her Pre-School experience, with GREAT teachers and the opportunity to make so many NEW friends. Rachel did such an AWESOME job today, I was so VERY proud of her!
Here is Rachel and her teachers. (Left) Miss Suzanne (Right) Miss Grandma/Miriam
Me & Rachel waiting for the program to begin.
This little boy was so funny, he kept playing with all of the girls' hair, he he.

Here is Rachel...singing & dancing. She was SO cute!

Here is Rachel and her BESTEST friend Callie. They sure had a LOVE/HATE relationship this year.....almost like siblings. They couldn't be without each other and then at times they would beat the heck out of each other...so silly! I think what made them fight was the fact that they really were two peas in a pod...or in other words, EXACTLY alike! And here is my beautiful, sweet and VERY proud little Rachel holding her Pre-School Certificate.

"Daddy is SO Beautiful!"

Oh my Gosh! I was laughing so HARD when I walked in and found Rachel "dressing up Daddy" while he was DEAD asleep! She was saying things like..."Hi my princess, do you want to wear this?", "Daddy is SO Beautiful", "This will look good on your eyes" and "Here is your lipstick Daddy". HA HA HA HA!!!! You can see why I just HAD to take pictures...I just hope Clint doesn't KILL me for posting them!
