Where does the time go?

I swear that it was JUST Saturday! I feel like there has been SO much going on, WOW....but what? Do you ever feel that way?

Last Friday I went with my MIL, Miriam and SIL, Mckenzie to the Scrapbook Sleepover at the PG Rec Center. We had such a fun time and seriously ate MASS quantities of food! I ate Pizza, Salad, Cinnamon Bears, Peanut Butter M&M's, *TWO* Double Chocolate Chip Cookies and some Nachos...and this was all between 6:30 PM to 12:00 AM...can you say oink??? Going to the Scrapbook Sleepover is always the greatest opportunity for me to get some serious scrap booking accomplished...so, you ask...how many pages did I complete? Not a single ONE! SERIOUS! I am not sure if it was the overload of junk and sugar or the fact that my brain decided to check out for the night...hmmmm? I just didn't have a thought or any creativity in me, it was SO sad! However, I STILL had a great time...so I guess that is all that matters, huh? Here are some random pictures...and I say "random" because I really don't know why we took such goofy pictures???

On Saturday Night We went and saw the BEATLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not REALLY! Me and Clint went to our Stake's Golden Green Ball Saturday Night so that we could watch my DAD and some other Bishops tear up the stage dressed up like the Beatles, lip-singing to some of my favorite songs! Me, Kellie and Sky were seriously the spazziest groupies I have EVER seen! He He He. Here is a picture of my Dad...he did such an AWESOME job!Oh...and I cannot forget Clint! He is STILL working on his boat! Dun, Dun, Dun!!!!

He swears that it **SHOULD** be completed by tonight! For his sake, I sure hope so...he has put quite a few hours into this little project of his! It looks BEAUTIFUL though...I will show pictures of the finished product!

To fill in the blanks...I have gone to the gym (I know, surprise), taken in some pretty great vinyl jobs, went to Enrichment last night, ran the kids here, there and EVERYWHERE....so, yeah...it feels like I have done A LOT! At least the Weather has been beautiful, for some reason it really helps to motivate me to do more! Today I even decorated my house with spring-y flowers and some Easter decor....fun, fun, fun!

My Dad is the COOLEST!

Can any of you say that your Dad has woken up early enough to go to a 6:00 AM fitness class at the gym? Can any of you say that when he got there he was the ONLY man out of almost 30 women in the class and was STILL a trooper? Can any of you say that your Dad kicked butt when it came to lifting weights? Can any of you say that you had an AWESOME time at that class with your Dad there?
Well.....I CAN! So, does that really mean that MY dad is the COOLEST? Hmmmm......I sure think so!
Today was Muscle Class at the gym, where we mostly lift weights throughout the entire class. So after constantly talking about how great this class is, I convinced my Dad to go with me! I should note that MOST of the women that attend this class have been doing so for almost a year now and are really pretty STRONG by now! Having said that....my Dad did AWESOME and in my opinion really showed up MANY of those STRONG women!
My dad is such a great Man and has ALWAYS been there for me and my sisters...oh, yeah and my little Bro. He is such a sweet, patient, kind and LOVING Dad...he is a true example when it comes to being an OUTSTANDING Father! Any Man that is willing to go to an (almost) ALL Women class, just to make his daughter happy is the TRUE definition of a GREAT Father (IMO)! Thanks for going Dad, I love you!

This week....

I am bummed because the computer that has MOST of my pictures is throwing fits on me, so this will be a post with NO pictures...sorry! ( I will add pictures when I can!)
I felt that there was enough going on this week to make a journal about it! Let's begin with Sunday...Miriam (my MIL) was walking around in her house and moved wrong and really hurt her back, the chiropractor thinks maybe even a slipped disc? She is STILL in A LOT of pain is really hoping that surgery isn't the answer to fix it...but she will continue to go the the Chiropractor for the next couple of weeks, then we will see! I feel so bad for her, but maybe this is what she needs to actually allow herself to take a break, eh?
On Monday night, Clint's friend Justin came over and they worked on pinewood derby cars for Brock and Justin's son. The cars turned out so AWESOME, with custom paint jobs and everything! I think that was truly Brock's highlight of the ENTIRE month...he can't wait until they get to race them!
On Tuesday Brock began to complain of an ear ache but still went to school, (tough little guy!) but by the afternoon...the soreness was too much and he came home early from school. The next day (Wednesday) I took him to the doctor and sure enough..he had an ear infection and a really sore throat. I also had the doctor look at his wart-like sores on his tummy and determined that it was Mollescum and that they should go away over time...it may even take up to a year for them to completely disappear. Poor little guy..I feel so bad about this because it has really made him feel self-conscious. Thankfully Dr. Fuller had a good talk with him and told him that it wasn't his fault, these things just happen! I think that made him feel a bit better.
Yesterday I went and visited Jasha (my friend since we were 10 yrs old) in the hospital...she had a little baby girl on Tuesday! She named her Journey and she was 6 lbs. 3 oz. and 19 inches long. She is such a BEAUTIFUL baby and so so TINY! It is crazy how we can tend to forget the smallness of a newborn!
So here it is Friday...yay! Thank heavens for weekends! I went to Zumba this morning and was surprised/excited to find that I had won the contest they were having there. Each time you would go to a class and drink 64 oz. of water the previous day you would earn two points. So, I guess since I am the workout queen of America and I attend MANY classes...it is no wonder that I would win, right? LOL. Anyways, I won this really cool Freezer meal recipe book that was actually created and published by the Zumba teacher, Jenny! (I learn something new EVERY day, I swear!) Oh...and let's not forget the bag of Dove Milk Chocolate w/almonds (YUM)!!!! Yep Kellie...they are hidden away from Rachel, she doesn't even know that there is chocolate in the house! he he *wink*
As for this weekend...there really isn't a whole lot going on for me and the kids because Clint will be down at the body shop painting his boat. Which takes me to him...that is where he has been the ENTIRE week each night, working on prepping the boat for paint...it is really going to look so great when it is all finished!
So there ya go, a little look into our lives this week...not a whole lot going on, but I guess a little more than normal.

Woops!!!!

For Christmas, Brock & Kory were given "Red Ryder" BB Guns from their Grandpa & Grandma Tomlinson (Clint's parents). Don't get me wrong, it was an AWESOME idea and my boys were SO excited and completely LOVE them.

Since the weather has been colder they really haven't had the chance to take the guns out shooting. So...one of Clint's friends and his kids came over on Sunday to visit...well, they got talking and got on the subject of these BB Guns. Well, next thing I knew...the boys (yeah, I mean the *BIG* boys) were making a target sheet and loading the guns...yippee! At first the kids were having a great time and all was supervised by the Dad's....THEN, the Dad's got sidetracked with their socializing and there were a few mishaps. First of all, Brock wanted to see what would happen if he shot straight up in the air. Yeah, maybe not a good idea...because the BB came straight back down and hit Kory on the top of the head...I don't think it really hurt him, but it WOULD have if it were something stronger than a BB, right??? Well, before all was said and done...Kory managed to shoot his friend in the shoulder AND Brock in the back...he claims "They didn't get out of the way!" Ummmm, okay!

So...it seems that my boys are in for some serious *gun safety* lessons in the NEAR future!

10 Digits????

So, yesterday was the first day that we have been FORCED to type ALL ten digits of a telephone number just to call someone. I am sorry, but to me this is such a DUMB idea and surely frustrating. Today I found myself using my Cell Phone more because all of those ten digit numbers were already programmed into my phone!

Not only is it frustrating to me, but Kory has been working on memorizing our home telephone number and NOW he has to add three more numbers to THAT! Seriously, what were *THEY* thinking????
